About
Ọlọrun is a celebration of light, colour, and renewal.
Founded by Gorency Nadine the brand gives new life to unloved glassware and tableware, transforming them into unique and creative home décor pieces and jewellery.
Whilst living in Scotland for many years, Nadine first developed a social enterprise specialising in upcycling under the banner of Govanhill Baths Community Trust . A formative experience that profoundly shaped her artistic and ethical approach. After moving between Scotland and the Czech Republic, she is now settled in the Limousin region of rural France with her partner, Martin, who occasionally helps her drill plates. There, she continues to upcycle objects, allowing them to tell a new story.
Inspired by the abundance and variety of vintage and second-hand items found in local charity shops and brocantes, I created Ọlọrun with a focus on crafting thoughtful pieces designed to bring warmth, spark curiosity, and inspire conversation.
As an alternative to mass-produced home décor and adornments, Ọlọrun combines quality design with sustainability, demonstrating that beautiful, functional, and environmentally conscious objects are possible.
Ọlọrun iinvites you to see beauty in what already exists and to illuminate your space with purpose, creativity, and care, through distinctive home décor and handcrafted wearable pieces.
