About us
Ọlọrun is a celebration of light, colour, and renewal.
Founded by Gorency Nadine and Martin, a duo of makers with deep experience in upcycling practices, Ọlọrun transforms forgotten glass and tableware into unique, handcrafted décor. Before creating Ọlọrun, Nadine founded and developed a social enterprise specialising in upcycling under the banner of Govanhill Baths Community Trust . A formative experience that profoundly shaped her artistic and ethical approach. After meandering between Scotland, Tchèque République we are now settled in the Limousin in rural France.
Inspired by the surplus and the variety of vintage and second hand items found in local charity shops and brocantes they created Ọlọrun with a focus on creating thoughtful pieces designed to bring warmth, spark curiosity, and inspire conversation.
As an alternative to mass-produced home décor, Ọlọrun combines quality design with sustainability, showing that beautiful, functional, and environmentally conscious objects are possible.
Ọlọrun invites you to see beauty in what already exists and to illuminate your space with purpose, creativity, and care.
